Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"Food was great! We were in the lunch rush since we were catching our hotel checkout so we didn’t have much time to savour but we opted for Filipino courses since they would be served faster. Everyone in our party of 5 was happy. Thanks and will come again."
"This is my favorite restaurant in Riyadh!!! The first time I tried the Tom yum soup, I was hooked. Every meal I have had is a hit. We always order more than we can eat, hardly finish the plates because portion sizes are huge, and leave there with plenty of leftovers. The fried rice, beef sisig, grilled Tangue, curry chicken (not my fav), were all mouthwatering, and a tea with milk, take away for my trip home . I will always recommend Cusina to everyone asking for a good restaurant. I order take away Tom Yum soup at least twice a month."
"Cozy and comfortable ambience. Good for family and friends, not so noisy and packed unlike other restos in the area. They serve Filipino food among with some Chinese and Japanese menu. Prices are reasonable and with same cost with other Filipino restos. Their advantage is the interior and setup of the place."
"The service is great, but it would be better if the food were served all at once instead of one by one. The food tastes delicious, especially the beef sisig and sushi! Just one concern—please try to prevent the smell of food and smoke from the kitchen from reaching the dining area. Overall, it was a great experience!"
"Affordable asian food and big portions. The place is warm and welcoming, the food was great and flavorful. We ordered a California roll mix 5/5: very good and spicy. Fried crab sticks 5/5: the kids loved them. Shrimp tempura 5/5: big shrimp enough for the a family to share. Miso soup 5/5: the only small soup they have and it's enough for 2 to share. Tom yum soup 5/5: with seafood and it has the perfect balance. Chicken ramen udon 3/5: the broth is so flavorful but the noodles were disappointing; not udon more like flat noodles. Sweet and sour chicken 5/5: very good that everyone loved it Japanese fried rice 5/5: comes with beef and it has a great smokey flavor. Szechuan beef 3/5: not thin and fried as usual, not spicy as well. Was a bit disappointing. Black pepper beef 3/5: the beef was chewy and the sauce was not as good as hoped. Chop suey with seafood 4/5: they don't serve only vegetables it has to come with seafood!!!! The variety of vegetables were limited so we didn't really enjoy it. We ordered from the bakery as well. We got a red velvet slice 4/5: fresh and tender. Sans rival slice 4/5: first time it was really old and dry we asked them to change it. Then it was a perfect meringue cake, loved it but the butter cream was really fatty. Nutella milkshake 4/5: my son liked it. Overall, we have been here twice so far, the food was really good and affordable, the service was friendly and patient. I would recommend it for authentic asian cuisine."
"Very affordable prices. Level of service and food quality is exactly 4/5. Desserts are ok but not the best… better skip it. Tiramisu is not like a tiramisu. “Chocolate moist” is just a tough sponge cake in a chocolate glaze. Do not suggest a fried crab better take any other crab.portions are decent so for one person will be enough soup and main"
"Highly recomended the ambiance is comfortable, yummy food.."
"The staffs were courteous. Nice ambience. Complimentary crackers tastes good. Seafood mix was 8/10 and deliciously spicy. Our sotanghon guisado looks appetizing but it seems to be rushed and tasted mildly burnt 5/10. Xao rice was 6/10. Buttered chicken was bland 3/10. Overall, a 6/10 experience."
